“The bicycle tour company Butterfield & Robinson calls its Bordeaux bike trip through the region “Dordogne,” as the tour concentrates on the Dordogne River. Guests stay in chateaux that qualify for the special Relais & Chateaux classification of luxury hotels. Among the vines are those of Chateau Petrus, possibly the world’s most exclusive and expensive wine.”
