There are some things we never get tired of saying. “Slow down to see the world” is one.

Butterfield & Robinson is among the Top Tour Operators in Travel + Leisure magazine’s 2013 World’s Best Awards readers’ survey.

T+L‘s “World’s Best Awards” survey asks the magazine’s discerning readers to cast their votes for the hotels, destinations and companies that define the very best in travel, and B&R is honoured to once again be voted among the top tour operators.

“We tend to emphasize experience above accolades,” says B&R President Norman Howe. “But being named to this list is an incredible testament to the quality of the experience we deliver on the ground and the passion that our travellers have for what we do.”

Respondents to the survey were asked to rate tour operators on six characteristics: staff/guides, itineraries/destinations, activities, accommodations, food and value, with optional ratings for families and conservation/philanthropy.

B&R received our highest-ever ranking of third overall, moving up from our fourth-place finish in 2012! Of course, the survey is based on readers’ responses, meaning that in this, as in all things, we have our travellers to thank for our success. Thank you for your support!
